Well, there is no end to shuddery experiences for Delhi or the national capital of India. The same metropolis had witnessed the horrifying Jessica Lal, Priyadarshini Mattoo cases that had sent a shivering down the spine. But this episode of Aftab Amin Poonawalla and Shraddha Walkar is more to the past and hence, the word ‘terrible’ must precede the word ‘shuddery’. The couple had met in Mumbai while working in a call center there. The lover affair started then and following it they shifted to the national capital or Delhi and in live-in relationship in the city’s Meherauli area. Though Shraddha’s parents refused to agree to this weird relation due to religious differences, she remained irrepressible. But Shraddha’s recurrent pleas for marriage left Aftab exasperated leading to the gruesome murder. A refrigerator was also purchased; Shraddha’s corpse was chopped into 35 pieces, stored in the fridge and disposed at 18 different locations in and around Delhi. Aftab arrested, finally..
