It’s the same story always, Hindus get persecuted in the neighboring countries and when they come to India for security and refuge, they’re tortured once more. Such a dreadful episode had happened in 1979 when tens of thousands of hapless Hindu refugees from neighboring Bangladesh entered West Bengal to save life and experienced genocide in return. Though decades have passed but the Hindu refugee lot remains the same and the recent forcible eviction of Pakistani Hindu refugees by the Jodhpur Development Authority of late happens to be its specimen. As per sources, JDA or Jodhpur Development Authority launched an anti-encroachment drive and dismantled around 200 structures, including residences of migrant Hindus.
