Mangaluru remains panic-stricken
Only on November 19, Saturday, of late, the coastal town of the Indian state of Karnataka or Mangaluru remained witness to a strange development when an auto-rickshaw exploded all of a sudden. Though the injured passenger was taken to a nearby hospital and is under medical treatment in a critical condition, police investigations have confirmed that it was no ordinary blast as seemed earlier. It has been learnt, the passenger in the auto-rickshaw was carrying a pressure cooker and the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) inside the cooker exploded.
