What’s the definition of patriotism in India? Is it to wave the national flag from a safe distance and express devotion to the motherland? It seems so these days and hence, the veneration to an Army jawan posted in Kashmir is extinct. Or else how can the latest act of vandalism on the hardworking family of the said army Havildar be defined? Havildar Prabhakaran does hail from Polur Thaluka of Thirvannamalai district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. He is stationed in Kashmir at the moment and of late, more than hundreds of people entered his wife’s fancy store, ransacked it and injured his wife, Keerthi and Keerthi’s brother heavily. The entire family back home is panic-stricken while Havildar is much terrified as well. He has made a video plea to the Tamil Nadu DGP to make the administration know the reality and ensure his family’s security that has gone viral.
