Donation to temples has been an age-old custom of Hindus down the centuries but it happens to be the prerogative of wealthy people only. Well, no more. Here is a difference. Tula Behera, a 70-year old woman and who sits before the ancient Jagannath temple at the town of Phulbani, Odisha seeking alms, has donated Rs. 1 lakh to the concerned temple committee. It’s a rare gesture that has astounded people in the vicinity manifesting that neither age is a number nor devotion knows limitations.
