Perhaps, there was hardly any Hindu individual even a couple of years back who could imagine that Kashi or the Dharmic capital of Hindus down the centuries would appear so modern and fresh. Extremely religious but dingy, troubled with traffic snarls round the clock almost; a city with an immensely rich heritage preferring to dwell in the past. And now in both beautification and appearance it’s ready to pose a stiff challenge to acclaimed religious centres across the globe.
