What’s of LGBT? It’s basically an abbreviation of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender. The term has been in use across the global panorama from the 1990s.
Without doubt LGBT has gained a mixed response from the Indian audience till date the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 was passed by the Indian parliament with the sole intention and wisdom to accept existence, to render legal protection to transgender people, their welfare and assorted related matters. The Act, in brief, recognizes the right to self-perceived gender dignity and recognition as a male or female can be issued once a certificate is generated by an authentic medical official.
